My two female cats lived to 16 years and 24 years on Indigo Moon. Now I have a male 5 year old Russian Blue that I got when he was 2 years old. He’s been on Solid Gold Indigo Moon since I got him. I also give him 2 cans of Solid Gold canned (small cans) per week for treats.

I can’t imagine feeding anything else and every friend who has tried Indigo Moon on my recommendation has continued using it.

I’ve been feeding my cats (12.5 and 11) strictly Indigo Moon for a decade and they’re both in wonderful health with ridiculously soft coats. They both enjoy the taste and graze through 1 cup, every 1 1/2-2 days. They don’t get canned food and are very happy kitties. The food is that good, that healthy and that sustaining.

I was joined by 2 American Domestic Shorthair pure bred kittens when they were 3 mos. old.
They ate Friskies pate food and did not eat any dry food. These were expensive pure-bred kittens and I tried every food for kittens. I found many holistic and grainfree products and they adjusted.
For the dry food, someone in the pet-store recommended Solid Gold, Indigo Moon, and they gobbled it up. Kittens are now 6 mos. old and eat mostly dry but I still do feed wet 3x a day; they do not finish their bowls. So far I had the most success with Evo.
, Wellness core, Wellness, and am eliminating anything by Pro Plan, Nature’s variety, Life’s abundance, and Authority. a preferred food pattern I shall stick to that.

In essence, my kittens have the silkiest and softest coats, are very healthy and my Vet marvels how well they are developing and look.

I’ve been feeding my cats Solid Gold Indigo Moon for years. All three cats have beautiful coats, sparkling eyes and most of all hardly any vet bills! We adopted one cat and the vet remarked that changing her diet from Friskies to Solid Gold probably added years to her life. Highly recommend.

Can only get one flavor of Solid Gold canned for cat in hong kong. Any comments on other mixes: Grimpet canned for cat, Schesir canned for cat? Thx

  • Joan Rudloff

Solid gold may start out pricy but my cat eats less than other cat food. We bought the big bag the end of may and are just now buying another. It’s around 27Cents a day to feed her. That’s not bad. She eats less because there are very few fillers in it.She would have to eat twice of much of the cheap stuff to get the protein she needs and gets from Solid Gold, and she isn’t throwing it back up, the way my other cats did, nor is she fat. Extra fillers mean extra calories cats don’t need.

I love the stuff and so does my cat.

Soild golds reputation remains very good, like the canned tuna.
it may be one of the best foods available.i’ve fed it to a cat with flv.
the cat refushed every wet food, but solid gold tuna. i have used the tuna
on many cats, some whose appetites are poor, it always entices a response.
i think this food, is probably one the better ones.
