‘Sensitive Cat’ Food Ingredients

There are two formulas under the “Sensitive Cat” name which are sold by Halo Pets. One of these formulas is turkey-based, while the other is a seafood combination. A whole meat is the first ingredient in all Sensitive Cat food formulas. Eggs and pea protein also make up the bulk of the ingredients. Most of the carbohydrates in Sensitive Cat food come from oats and pearled barley. It’s interesting to note that the Sensitive Cat formulas do not contain any meat meal. There are many different fruits and vegetables in Sensitive Cat food formulas.

‘Sensitive Cat’ Food Allergies

There don’t appear to be any corn, wheat or soy ingredients in ‘Sensitive Cat’ food formulas, which is one of the advertised selling points of the Sensitive Cat formulas. However, if your cat has a very specific allergy – such as an allergy to a meat protein – you should always closely read the ingredients of any cat food formula.

    Hiiii,

My Siamese only eats California Natural Pure & Simple Chicken & Brown Rice dry formula. It has very few ingredients & he loves it. He also eats Hills ID but prefers California Natural. He has been very sensitive since he was just over one yr old. He is now 10. We have tried other sensitive diets & he has not done well.
