I have a 4 year old Jack-Chi and a 6 year old Chiweenie. I started feeding them TimberWolf Dry Venison and Lamb formula a couple months ago and they LOVE it. I must say, I was extremely reluctant as there is not a lot of info out there and I don’t want to feed them something that could ultimately cause them harm but so-far-so-good. The older dog, makes this hilarious squealing sound when I am filling her bowl. I have never seen them so excited about any other food. They were never ‘picky’ eaters, but there is something special about this formula. I haven’t had any customer service issues yet. I order directly from their website and get food within a week. I do think I will start to stagger my orders so I always have something on hand as I have read many horror stories from many different sources about this issue. In a nutshell, the girls are happy, they look great, feel great, and that’s all I can ask for.

Food is good, but if you have any customer service related issues, they are terrible! I have purchased from their co (although I believe they are a vendor) 6 times and I placed two pre orders and there were issues with both of them. Their website states 3-5 weeks for delivery. This last pre-order, I didn’t have a choice because there was no product, in the size or product I wanted, so I had to pre-order. I ordered July 30, 2013 and this is August 26 and I first emailed for the status of my order. No response. I got on line to chat. I wanted to know why my pre-order wasn’t shipped ahead of regular orders, as the product was in stock. I was told that they were using a new warehouse and although my order was to ship on August 19, 2013, they “choose” not to ship it out because they were having issues with their “new” warehouse. When I placed this order, I placed another order, of another Timberwolf product so my dogs would have food to last until the pre-order was shipped. Now, my dogs are completely out of food. Since my order was suppose to be shipped last week and because their warehouse wasn’t working out for them, I requested to have my order shipped overnight. This was not unreasonable request, for the reasons stated above. 1) They only had pre-order on the product I wanted 2) They then had product available to ship, but they told me that they shipped those out before pre-orders (which I don’t understand) 3) The warehouse issue was not my problem. When I called the customer service, they were rude and did not want to comply with my request. They told me that I didn’t order my product on “Monday” but “Tuesday” that is why my order didnt ship last week, even though the other CS told me it was the warehouse issue! I requested to speak with manager, Regina and she was also the same way. She didn’t want to ship my product over night. I stated that since others received their products prior to my and the warehouse issue, which neither was my fault, I felt that an exception could be made to ship this product overnight. The manager refused. She stated, “at the end of the day, we are here to make money”. That statement told me everything I wanted to know about them. They don’t care about retail customers! I told her they lost a customer and I will be going to Merrick dog food instead. The manager really didn’t care. I also requested cancellation of this order and to credit my account for $93, for 48 pounds of food! Timberwolf is a good food, but if Customer Service and management can’t make reasonable accommodations and treat customers good, …the product isn’t worth the price!

I feed my German Shepherd dog with Timberwolf lamb and apples, and she really loves the food, since feeding it to her she has been growing really fast, her coat is so full and shiny and plush and she seems to really love it. She is happy and healthy and full of energy. I think that the formula suits her perfect, she is healthy and is trim and lean and strong. I would recommend the food if you can afford it, it is rather expensive, but worth it.the food has always been smooth on her stomach she has never gotten sick on it, she truly loves it..
