Perhaps I look into things a little too much, but perhaps not. With all the buying and selling of companies such as P&G (Eukanuba – fast food) buying out Natura (I was feeding Innova until that) you don’t know what to feed your pets – and feel compelled to check the status of the food and company on a regular basis.

What stuck out in this article for me was: “Breeder’s Choice Pet Foods is actually a fully owned division of Central Garden and Pet Company”.

If you google even basic info on ‘Central Garden Pet Company’ you come to their main page. On it they claim to not only make pet food (among other things) but also garden care products!! Scroll down that list to see pesticides, etc. Are these make in the same factory? Do the two even cross paths in the ingredients to final package journeys? I don’t like chemicals and food listed in connection with each other.

I notice a lot of stores display pet foods next to garden feed. Stater Bros, Lowes, etc. That’s horrible too.

I would email the company about this but nobody replies in this day and age, or you get an auto message. Oh heck.. will try it for kicks.

    For now= feeding raw.

I just started using Pinnacle Trout & Sweet Potato for my 19 mos. old Collie/Terrier Mix who we believe to have allergies. In the last year and a half I have done a lot of reading up on dog foods and have tried several different foods. I decided to try Pinnacle after reading many positive reviews from owners with dogs who had allergies and did well on this food. It has only been a week and a half, so too soon to tell though I already noticed much better stools. Can anyone tell me how long does it take for an allergen to leave a dog’s body and how long before I would see results from this new food if it were working? My dog is still itchy and scratching, pawing her face, rubbing her back. I sure am hoping to see some relief soon. In the meantime, she’s on Benadryl and gets medicated baths a couple times a week and unfortunately doesn’t get to eat anything else but her Trout & Sweet Potato for now.

I adore Pinnacle. My dog had the most sensitive stomach and would throw up several times a week until I put her on this food. it’s a miracle. Thank you!

I have tried many different foods for my Cavalier, but Pinnacle is the one. Josie had trouble with other foods causing her to regurgitate and spit up after eating. That doesn’t happen when she eats Pinnacle Duck or Trout. Very happy with the quality

I have had my 5 year old Golden Retriever on Pinnacle with a little raw meat for the last year. Her eyes are sharper, her hearing is sharper, her weight is great, as you know Golden Retrievers shed all year round, she sheds but not even 1/2 as bad as before and her fur is not long and stringy she has a soft shiny silky coat between her food her exercise and her Oatmeal shampoos my Golden Retriever is so healthy it has amazed many people they always ask me if she is 2 and I have to tell them nope she is almost 6….I am very happy with Pinnacle and raw meat. It has taken me a very long time to find the right food for the love of my life.
    Thank You Pinnacle
