    Solid Gold saved the life of my 2 year old Aussie, who had severe and widespread food allergies. His skin was fire engine red all over and he was constantly rolling and scratching trying to find relief. I’d tried everything veterinary medicine had to offer including steroids (he got Pred Rage) and limited antigen diets. After a year of really trying to get his allergies under control I decided I’d have to put him to sleep to end his considerable suffering. My obedience trainer at the time asked me to wait until she could ask her buddies on an obedience training discussion list if they’d dealt with it. She came back with an inch thick pile of print out of their replies. About 80% of them suggested SG. I obtained a small bag figuring it was worth a try, but I wasn’t very hopeful considering I’d tried a number of such foods. Within a week he’d stopped the continuous scratching and rolling. Within two weeks his oozing sores were healing up and his energy level was much higher. Within a month his coat was noticably filling in.

    I kept him on Hund-N-Flocken for the rest of his life and he never had any further allergy symptoms except when a boarding facility accidentally fed him a wheat based dog biscuit. He lived to be 14 years old and was very healthy until his final 2 months. I use it with all my rescues now to improve their overall condition.
