I have a bit of a problem, I am a CVT and adore blue buffalo for cats. I currently use the duck formula for cats and this last bag I purchased had some type of mites in it (they were alive and plentiful) I brought it back to the store that I purchased it from with no avail. the sales person looked at me as if I was dumb and wouldn’t even let me get a replacer bag because it had been opened, well of course it had been opened the bags aren’t see through so I wouldn’t know there were mites in the food unless i had opened the bag, I love your product and was wondering if there is anyway you could send me a coupon for a free bag of cat food or something.

I ran into the same problem with duck formula and I contacted, blue buffalo and they couldn’t help me at all. They told me to contact the store where I purchased the food. I did contact the store and they wouldn’t take the food back either. Blue buffalo lost me and my friends as customers because now we purchase innova cat food because they stand behind there food 100%.
I have never had a problem returning food that my cat wouldn’t eat. I brought my receipt & the food to only Pet Smart or Petco & they took back the food (dry kind). Hope this will help.
Hello. I just read your comment about finding mites in the Blue Buffalo. I was feeding my dogs and cats Blue…WAS… The first thing I found in a bag of Blue, dog food, was a very large clump of CAT FOOD! Not Blue Buffalo cat food either. I called the company and they were not surprised! The lady I spoke with said “oh yeah that happens sometimes”….I said you claim to be independent company… Come to find out, the NAME Blue Buffalo may be independent, but the outsource through many many different companies. So the $50 dog food is being produced on the same extruders as Friskies Cat food. They were also a pain in the net to deal with. The SECOND thing I found in a bag of Blue, dog food again, was a large piece of plastic! It was through a piece of kibble not just in the bag. Like, baked right in. That was my complete last straw with them and I will never use that company again. My animals now eat Wellness brand food.

wow after reading all the comments it makes me wonder about the company, i to buy blue buffalo catfood, and the big bags at that, not cheap i will say.and no i havent been able to find a coupon anywhere, i would think if they endorse this brand they would give us a break once in awhile, just to keep us coming back, and the things with mites and the other generic food thats in these bags, petsmart highly recommend this food,so whats someone to do when they think they are spending more money on better catfood and in reality its generic??
