FDA warns against feeding your dog Nature’s Deli Chicken Jerky Dog Treats

The FDA is warning pet owners to not feed their dogs Nature’s Deli Chicken Jerky Treats with the lot code BESTBY061913DEN in the 3 lb. packages because of a possible Salmonella contamination.

The treats are made in the United States by Kasel and were sold in the Denver, Colorado at Costco stores. Kasel is not doing a voluntary recall, but Costco is working with the FDA to remove all of the packages from their shelves. Costco is also trying to contact all of the customers who purchased this product.

There have not been any reported illnesses from these treats.
